Mission

To improve the quality of life and empower Broward's families with children by engaging the community stakeholders to collaboratively and efficiently develop and support systems of care.

About Us

Children's Services section of Broward County Community Partnerships Division improves the lives of children and their families by providing leadership in community planning efforts. This section is responsible for strategic planning and administration of approximately $15 million in contracts awarded to public and non-profit organizations that provide a variety of services to children and their families.

These services address the needs of children in several program categories. For a list of current funding, see the links below. If you need further information, please contact staff at 954-357-7880.

Staff also provides support to the Broward County Children's Services Board (CSB), an advisory board that recommends to the Board of County Commissioners, which programs should be funded to provide these services.

This section also previously administered a six (6) year Federal grant, One Community Partnership, which expired in 2009.
