City Pet Limits
Broward County > Animal > Resources > City Pet Limits

While Broward County does not have any pet limits, many cities within the County do set requirements for the number of pets that a resident may own within city limits.

The list below specifies each city’s requirements. If a city is not listed, that means that there are no pet limits for that municipality. However, we recommend that you contact the Code Enforcement department for the city in which you live for complete details regarding municipal pet ordinances

In addition, if you live in a community that is governed by a homeowners or condo association, please contact them regarding any bylaws concerning pet ownership in the community.
